In France, the risk of accidents for maintenance workers and motorway/express road intervention teams has increased in recent years due to a slackening of user behaviour (speed, distractions). This has resulted in a rise in the number of deaths and injuries. To deal with this matter, we were entrusted with the task of benchmarking various entities, including European road network operators [1]. The main results are set out in this article.
