Another It is with great pleasure and deep gratitude that I would like to greet for the first time the readers of the PIARC Routes/Roads magazine. Since January 1st, 2025, I am blessed and privileged to serve PIARC as President for the mandate 2025-2028. For sure it is an enormous responsibility, but at the same time it is a great honor to represent the road transport sector at international level, thanks to an Association such as PIARC that is so respected, recognized and esteemed throughout the world and that, all along its 116 years of existence, has helped to create knowledge, to develop studies and in-depth analyses of the numerous and relevant technical issues that make the road transport system so fascinating and interesting.
