Asset management in the countries of Latin America has experienced a great advance in recent years, both from an increase in road maintenance and the use of new techniques and procedures, moving from the use of manual techniques to automated procedures today. These have been fundamental to a growing asset management which is complemented by the implementation of modern systems for management of road assets. This evolution has also required from roads agencies to seek innovative ways to manage their maintenance in order to respond to the expectations of users.
