For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved words. When I was little I used to write and talk non-stop, so I think I was destined for a career in communication! I’ve always been interested in getting to know people better and I’m also attracted by other cultures, as is the case in my current work team, much to my delight. Fostering relationships to get to know others better and understand their needs are major motivating factors for me After having studied writing and communication, I went on to do a master’s degree in leisure, culture and tourism. I was driven by the idea of working in areas that make people feel good… and if you think about it, we can’t carry out our leisurely pursuits or travel if we don’t use transport! Local governments and public services were also my priorities. I therefore joined the Quebec Government in the transport field in 1998 as part of a work placement within Quebec’s Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility – a move which shaped my career path.
