PIARC chooses France to host the XVIIth World Winter Service and Road Resilience Congress in Chambéry in 2026

During its session from 19 to 21 October 2021, the PIARC Council decided to assign the organisation of the XVIIth World Winter Service and Road Resilience Congress to France in 2026. After Calgary, which just organised the XVIth congress this year for Canada, Chambéry in Savoie will now take the reins. This will be the second WS congress to be held in France, after the 1971 edition which took place over 50 years ago in Valloire, a winter sports resort located at the foot of the famous Col du Galibier.
