UK National Committee

The United Kingdom has a long history with the Association that encompasses hosting a World Road Congress event in London in 1913 and early establishment of a National Committee in 1925. Recently the UK has played a key role in proactively leading the strategic plan for the Association and has been linking the work of the Association, at a national level, to all the highway authorities through public sector client bodies and industry groups in the United Kingdom. Around 50 members, including Government organisations, companies, individual and honorary members make up the UK National Committee.
