PIARC's Logo: The Whole Story

During its October 2019 Council session held in Abu Dhabi, the World Road Association adopted a new visual identity and single acronym across all languages: «PIARC». For this occasion, we asked Mr. Jean-François Corté, the Association's Secretary General from 2002 to 2016, to recount the history of the Association's logos since inception. We can be sure that «PIARC», founded under this name 110 years ago and dubbed the «World Road Association» in 1995, has a bright future ahead of it!
