Uruguayan association of roads (auc)
Recognized as a National Committee of the World Road Association in September 2011, the Uruguayan Association of Roads (Asociación Uruguaya de Caminos, AUC, http://www.auc.com.uy/) is a non-profit organization created in 1987 with the aim of establishing a specific place where the themes of interest in the area of roads and their operation can be presented, discussed and developed in partnership with all actors related to this subject. The Association has 313 members, grouped into two categories:41 business members (government agencies, civil and commercial firms), and 272 individual members (professionals, students and technicians), representing all sectors of society and the business environment related to the roads.
