The systematic and gradual adoption of modern information and communication technologies to improve safety, efficiency, competitiveness and sustainability of Italian entire roads and motorways network, represents a tremendous opportunity for ANAS and the country as a whole for the next decade. In this context, ANAS has developed and rolled out a new ITS system, named ANAS Road Management Tool (ANAS RMT), with the goal to improve efficiency and effectiveness of road network management.
