There has been a change in Italy's PIARC National Committee's driver seat, since a new President, Gianni Vittorio Armani, was elected on September 24th 2015. Born in 1966, he has a degree in electronic engineering at Rome's La Sapienza University with key managerial experiences and an academic curriculum including a Master in financial management at the MIT Sloan School of Management (Cambridge-USA). In May 2015, he joined ANAS S.p.A., Italy's National Road Administration, as CEO and President.
