Based on data of World Health Organization (2015), each year over 1.2 million people die on the world's roads, with millions suffering serious injuries and living with long-term adverse health consequences. Globally, road traffic accidents are a leading cause of deaths among young people with the main percentage between 15 and 29 years. The excessive speed is one of the main risk factors to road traffic safety, enhancing accident probability and affecting accident severity.
