For a fairly long time, LED lighting has found its way into our lives. Though the use of LED lights was first limited to only a few niche uses, there is now hardly a field of possible application where the utilisation of LEDs is not considered. This is because of the high level of effectiveness (light efficiency) that has already been achieved by LEDs. Even the automobile industry, with its stringent requirements is showing interest in this technology which further demonstrates the attractiveness to LEDs.
