Juan Sebastián Cañavera Herrera (age 29) is a civil engineer who completed his degree at the National University of Colombia and a University of Cambridge research student specializing in urban resilience and the adaptation of civil infrastructure to climate change. He recently completed his doctoral studies at the University of Cambridge, where he conducted multidisciplinary research into the governance structures behind the plans for adapting urban road infrastructure to climate change. He is currently working as a PhD research student for the Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction (CSIC).
